The Cottage
| We have decorated and appointed Sunny Showers Cottage as if we were going to be living in it ourselves. We wanted a comfortable, fun home where we could be as active as we wanted or where we could kick back and do a "whole lot of nothing". Some people have told us that we made Sunny Showers Cottage too nice, but we wanted a place near the beach we could enjoy as much as the people who visit. |

The namesake of Sunny Showers Cottage is the outdoor shower just 3 steps outside the back door. Completely private with hot (in fact, Sunny Showers Cottage has 2 water heaters, so there is always plenty of hot water) and cold water, this is the best outdoor shower on the Island. When our family stays on the Island, we only use the outdoor shower. It is much more refreshing to finish showering and dry off in the open air rather than a steamy bathroom. Once you've tried our Sunny Shower, it will be hard to go back to showering indoors. |
